An international school accredited by the Alberta curriculum.

    7 Jan 2019
There are many international schools using the Alberta Curriculum throughout the world, and there is an official accreditation standard to become an Alberta accredited international school. It requires strong leadership, commitment, planning, resources and time. Schools move through four tiers as they proceed through the accreditation process. An Alberta accredited international school must meet certain accreditation requirements covering all aspects of school operation and education quality.

CIS is the first international school in Foshan to receive Alberta accreditation

We did this because of our complete commitment to all of our students, and our desire to ensure that every single student at CIS becomes a global citizen, that they can live all-rounded, fulfilling lives, and that they can contribute to the betterment of themselves, their community and the world.
In the future, students studying at CIS will be considered equivalent to being registered in the Canadian education system.
Upon enrollment, they will have Canadian student status, and upon successful completion of the high school curriculum and graduation, they will obtain the Alberta High School Diploma, which serves as a strong foundation for CIS students applying to top-ranked universities worldwide.
