Cambridge Interdisciplinary Summer Camp

2025-03-11
CIS

The spring breeze is gentle, and the sunlight is warm. In the blink of an eye, we’ve entered the season of renewal. For upper-year students, schools typically begin to ask students and parents questions like, "What courses do you plan to choose after your child moves on to A-Level?" or "What major does your child intend to choose for university?" regarding course selection for the upcoming academic year.

As we know, the GCSE curriculum offers over 60 subjects, the A-Level curriculum covers more than 80 subjects, the IB system has 6 subject groups with 57 courses, and the AP system offers 38 subjects for students to choose from. With so many complex course options, how should students and parents make their decisions?

If you are still troubled by this question, perhaps you can consider sending your child to an interdisciplinary summer camp officially organized by the University of Cambridge this summer! Here, your child will learn alongside Cambridge professors from various disciplines, exploring the features and charms of different subjects. Through this two-week learning experience, your child will have a better understanding of which subjects they are more passionate about, and you will gain deeper insight into the subject selection requirements of various universities when it comes to admissions.
