CIS ASA | Golf Course End-of-Term Celebration: Witnessing Children's Journey from Beginners to Confident Swingers

Professional Collaboration to
Create a High-Level Golf Program
The CIS ASA Golf Program has established a long-term strategic partnership with the renowned Royal Orchid International Golf Club in the Greater Bay Area, working together to create a golf learning platform that combines professionalism with an international perspective for students.
At the same time, CIS has founded the "CIS Rising Stars Golf Academy," providing a systematic and progressive training pathway for students of different ages and skill levels, helping them continuously improve on campus.

Nurturing Future Golf Stars
with Competitive Potential
Under the guiding philosophy of CIS Rising Stars Golf Academy, we are committed to exploring and nurturing the potential of young golfers. The outstanding performances of our current students Milly and Katelyn demonstrate our goal and vision of providing excellent training opportunities for students.
CIS G11 Katelyn participated in the 3rd Guanlan Lake National Junior Golf Invitational and the 2025 Guanlan Lake Junior Series Final on November 23, 2025, and won the runner-up in the Women’s A Group, demonstrating exceptional strength and potential.

CIS G4 Milly has achieved excellent results in multiple tournaments through years of training, including 4th place in the Women’s D Group at the Guangdong Provincial Junior Golf Elite Tournament, 6th place in the Women’s C Group at the 2024 China Amateur Open (Foshan), and the "Seedling Award" at the 2025 Shenzhen Junior Golf Open

Course Highlights: Step-by-Step
Training,Professional Yet Caring
Under the guidance of Royal Orchid International Golf Club's experienced coaching team, the course is designed with a step-by-step approach, balancing technical details with a focus on the learning experience.

Beginner Phase (Zero Foundation)
Students start with basic body coordination and movement recognition. Through fun drills, such as using foam sticks to simulate swings, they establish correct posture and muscle memory.

Skill Refinement Phase (Beginner)
As movements stabilize, students move to real ball practice, focusing on swing rhythm, shot stability, and building a sense of distance.

Course Application Phase (Advanced)
Students enter a professional practice field, using official clubs. In a near-competitive environment, they practice from different distances and terrains, enhancing their overall judgment of the course and rhythm.

Thanks to the close collaboration between CIS and Royal Orchid International Golf Club, the course is personalized according to each student’s age, physical ability, and skill level, providing a safe, professional, and motivating environment for growth.
End-of-Term Event: Witnessing
Growth at Junlan Golf
On January 12, the CIS ASA Golf Program held its end-of-term parent-child event at Royal Orchid International Golf Club.
On this day, students showcased the progress they had made over the semester on a professional course, creating a high-quality platform for communication and interaction between parents, coaches, and students.
From "the first time holding a club" to "confidently swinging at the practice field," each child made a key transition from having no foundation to engaging in systematic training. Every student progressed at their own pace, gaining confidence, focus, and persistence through each swing and adjustment.
Confident Swing Moments:
A Transformation
from Technique to Character
During the student demonstrations, each student completed their own swing performance.
Whether they were beginners entering the world of golf or young athletes with some foundation, their focused and confident swings became the most captivating sights on the field.
Parents and coaches witnessed the dedication and growth of their children over the semester. This event was not just a showcase of achievements but also a life lesson in discipline and perseverance.
The event also featured a parent-child golf challenge, where parents joined their children on the practice field to complete mini-games and swing tasks together.

In this relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, parents had a direct experience of their children's growth in focus, etiquette, and sportsmanship.
During the course summary and certificate presentation, the coaching team reviewed each student’s progress and awarded them certificates of honor, recognizing their efforts and breakthroughs throughout the semester.

These moments of ceremony deepened the mutual understanding and trust between the school and families regarding the course philosophy.
Looking to the Future:
From Campus Fairways to
International Competitions
Looking ahead, CIS will continue to collaborate with Royal Orchid International Golf Club to optimize course content and the training system. The plan is to gradually increase regional and youth tournament opportunities, allowing students to hone their mindset and strategies on real competition fields.
The program will also introduce more high-tech teaching tools, such as swing data analysis and simulator training, to help students more efficiently understand technical details, making the learning process both professional and fun.

At CIS, golf is not just a sports program; it is a growth path that connects the classroom to the world. Through systematic training, students continue to refine their skills while developing the core values of etiquette, focus, self-discipline, and sportsmanship, which are essential for progressing to higher-level competitions.
In the future, CIS will continue to create opportunities for students to enter regional, national, and even international junior golf tournaments, helping more children start their journey from the school practice field and grow into global golf stars.
