CIS ASA | Partnering with Junlan Golf Academy to Cultivate International Sports Stars

Golf, as a sport full of challenges and charm, has gained unique development space at CIS. Since the establishment of the New Star Golf Academy last year, CIS has fully supported the provision of a "ceiling-free" golf course platform for students, aiming to cultivate their globally competitive golf skills. Moreover, through this sport, it hones students' resilience, concentration, and patience, helping them cope with future global challenges.

Under the guiding philosophy of CIS Rising Stars Golf Academy, we are committed to exploring and nurturing the potential of young golfers. The outstanding performances of our current students Milly and Li Minghui demonstrate our goal and vision of providing excellent training opportunities for students. 

 Milly, a 5th-grade student at CIS, has achieved excellent results in multiple competitions through years of training, including 4th place in Group D (Girls) at the Guangdong Junior Golf Elite Tournament, 6th place in Group C (Girls) at the 2024 China Amateur Open - Foshan Station, and the "Young Seed Award" at the Shenzhen Junior Golf Open.

 Li Minghui, an 11th-grade student at CIS, won the runner-up in the Girls' Group at the Volvo National Junior Championship Qualifier and ranked 2nd at the 2025 "Jiuheyanya Cup" Wuyishan National Junior Golf Open. 

 Their performances and achievements inspire us to continue providing golf training opportunities for more students, helping them thrive in future competitions and showcase their talents and competitiveness.

We have established a long-term cooperative relationship with Royal Orchid  International Golf Academy, one of the prestigious golf academies in the Greater Bay Area. Combining Junlan's top-tier educational resources and advanced teaching facilities, we provide students with a comprehensive golf training and learning experience.

As one of CIS's key educational programs, the Rising Stars Golf Academy undertakes the mission of nurturing future golf stars. We not only focus on improving students' golf skills but also pay close attention to their all-round quality development, including sportsmanship, leadership, and personal character.

The curriculum of Rising Stars Golf Academy has no fixed "ceiling". Students can freely explore and break through in the courses according to their personal abilities and interests. From basic skills to advanced techniques, foreign coaches and senior Korean coaches provide personalized teaching for each student to ensure their continuous progress.

The course combines indoor simulator training with real outdoor driving range experience. This dual teaching model helps students improve their skills in different environments. The course content is flexibly adjusted to ensure beginners can lay a solid foundation, while providing more challenging training for experienced students.

At the golf program's conclusion event last year, students and their parents participated together, showcasing the growth and progress students had achieved throughout the program.

During the event, the coaches arranged challenges for parents and children to complete together, which enhanced their communication and interaction, allowing parents to intuitively feel the positive impact of the golf program on their children's growth.

CIS's golf program provides students with unique competitiveness for further education. Through close cooperation with Junlan Golf, students have the opportunity to participate in competitions at all levels and plan their further education paths based on their results. As a high-end sport, golf has become an important criterion for many international schools and universities to evaluate students' comprehensive quality, enhancing their competitiveness in the further education application process. 

 For example, the outstanding results achieved by Li Minghui, a Grade 11 student mentioned earlier, in golf competitions have successfully enhanced her personal profile, laying a solid foundation for her future applications to top universities worldwide. Her excellent performance not only demonstrates her talent and hard work in the field of golf but also opens up more further education opportunities for her.

With the continuous upgrading of the courses at Rising Stars Golf Academy, the cooperation between CIS and Junlan Golf Academy will be further deepened. Both parties are committed to improving the quality of the courses and expanding international perspectives. In the future, we will introduce more advanced technologies to support students' golf dreams and academic development. CIS's golf program is not only a part of physical education, but also an important platform for students' all-round growth. It helps them develop comprehensively in academics, sports and character, and gradually become leaders in various fields in the future.
