CIS Welcome Ceremony

On August 16th, CIS Foshan (Caeyu International School of Foshan) hosted the much-anticipated 2024-2025 Welcome Ceremony, with over 100 families in attendance. This event was especially significant as it coincided with the 24th anniversary of the Canadian International Educational Organization (CIEO), to which CIS proudly belongs!

As a proud member of CIEO and the first international school in Shunde, CIS is committed to raising the bar for international education.

"Innovate Today, Lead Tomorrow" is the mission of CIS. The Welcome Ceremony marks the beginning of a global education journey for students, parents, and CIS together. Every detail today reflects the hopes and commitments of the entire staff towards the future of our students.

Touching Moment 2:

Auspicious Lion Dance

Located in Foshan Shunde, CIS embraces the local tradition of lion dancing, which became a highlight of the welcome ceremony. Amid the cheers of the children, the lion dance not only showcased the charm of this cultural heritage but also brought joy and good fortune to the campus.

Moment Three:

Creating a Harmonious

International Community

At this welcome ceremony, we thoughtfully arranged meet-and-greet and interactive activities between teachers and students, allowing them to quickly feel at home in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. These activities strengthened the bond between teachers and students, laying a solid foundation for the new school year.

We specially set up a student services consultation booth to help parents and students learn about the various services and support provided by the school. This not only answered questions for new families but also ensured that every student at CIS receives comprehensive care and support throughout their academic journey.

We also organized a variety of engaging activities: students wrote down their hopes for the future in the time capsule and expressed their love and excitement for the new campus with vibrant colors on the "I LOVE CIS" graffiti wall. These activities added warmth and energy to the campus atmosphere.

During this welcome ceremony, parents, students, and the entire CIS faculty worked together to create a warm and harmonious campus atmosphere. This close partnership between home and school is the core strength of CIS in its pursuit of educational excellence.

As a significant milestone in the history of CIS, the welcome ceremony on August 16th painted a hopeful and dream-filled vision for parents and students.
