At this Winter Festival, all program transitions and stage hosting were handled entirely by students. Children from Kindergarten, Elementary, and Secondary School came together to form the hosting team. The youngest host was only at the PK3 level, yet confidently spoke on stage without notes.

Whether introducing performances or engaging with the audience, the student hosts demonstrated poise and professionalism, earning continuous applause and admiration from the crowd.

1

Kindergarten

The children opened the show with songs, dances, and rhythmic movements full of innocence. Their adorable gestures and pure smiles turned winter’s joy into a series of lively scenes, instantly lighting up the auditorium with warmth and festive cheer.

2

Elementary School

Students from the Elementary School took the stage with a series of festive-themed songs, dances, and dramatic performances. From more intricate formations to confident and natural stage presence, the children built their performance skills through collaboration and rehearsal. They brought their creativity—and their learning in language and the arts—onto a real, lively stage.

3

Secondary School

The Secondary School’s powerful street dance performance combined youthful energy with festive joy, sending the atmosphere soaring as waves of applause and cheers filled the hall.

This year’s auditorium performance also featured a special Christmas carol segment: students from different grade levels came together, blending voices of all ages into one shared melody. This classic song truly became a “sung by the whole school” holiday moment, reflecting the strong sense of connection and belonging within the CIS community.

The school choir, the Dragon Team, made up of Elementary School students, performed “Tama Tu” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” Their voices brought calm yet powerful musical moments to the show, allowing the audience to feel themes of perseverance, love, and togetherness through their singing.

At this year’s Winter Festival, the CIS Teacher Choir stepped onto the stage for the first time, adding a beautifully gentle finale to the entire performance. Familiar holiday melodies flowed from the teachers’ voices, becoming heartfelt blessings for students and parents alike.

The grand finale—the charity raffle—was hosted by Santa Claus himself, with our Superintendent, Mr. Nathan, drawing the lucky winners. Wave after wave of surprises and laughter filled the auditorium, bringing the performance to a joyful close.

This Winter Festival marked a luminous, vibrant, and heartfelt close to the CIS school year. Every student confidently performing on stage, and every teacher and parent supporting from the sidelines, played an important role in this winter story. May these moments—captured in lights, song, and laughter—be cherished memories of “school,” “community,” and the holiday season in the children’s hearts, and serve as the starting point for us to come together again next year.
