● Admission Procedures
STEP 1
Contact Admissions to complete an Application Form or make a school tour appointment.
STEP 2
Submit the application documents; Pay application processing fee; and confirm your appointment for an assessment.
STEP 3
One-on-one interview and assessment (in English). For families that are currently outside ofFoshan or Guangzhou, assessment and interview will be conducted online.
STEP 4
Receive assessment results/offer letter.
STEP 5
Complete payment and secure placement.
● Admission Procedures
The key objective of our school's admissions policy is to ensure students are able to achieve individual academic success and develop their holistic mindset through participating in the CIS school life.
As a true international school, the main language of instruction is English. The academic English level of the applicant is a determining factor, though other factors such as behavior, work ethic, past academic achievement and the different expectations in different division levels also play a role in the decision to accept a student or not.
The Admissions Test will be conducted by a member of the school leadership team, in consultation with academic team members, and with the assistance of our Admissions Office. Once you submit the Application Form and paid relevant fees, our admissions officers will help make an appointment (on campus or online) for the test.
● Admissions Materials
CISwelcomes all international families, including China (Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) to apply for admission. The requirements include:
- Application Form
- Picture of the student
- Student's foreign passport/Permanent Resident
- Parents' passports
- School records
CIS welcomes international students aged 1-18 (kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school), including students from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and other regions.
