A Level Grades 9-12

At our school, students from grades 9 to 12 can choose the international high school plus preparatory course in the A-level direction. The course integrates IGCSE, A-Level, and BTEC Art & Design Foundation.

A-Level enjoys an international reputation, characterized by a wide selection of subjects and greater flexibility compared to the college entrance examinations of many countries, with a relatively moderate difficulty. We encourage students to choose A-Level subjects based on their interests and career goals. These diversified subject choices not only provide students with a broad range of knowledge but also help them develop various core skills to prepare for their future academic and professional careers.

    The A-level subjects we offer include:

    Mathematics

    This course covers multiple areas of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, probability and statistics, and the application of mathematics in real life. Students will learn how to use mathematical tools to solve complex problems and cultivate logical thinking and mathematical modeling abilities.

    Physics

    Students will study various areas of physics, including mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, optics, and modern physics. They will gain a deep understanding of the fundamental principles and phenomena in nature, and will also learn to use mathematical and experimental methods to solve complex physical problems.

    Business

    In this course, students will learn how to analyze business problems, develop effective business strategies, and manage various aspects of an organization. The course emphasizes practical case studies so that students can apply theoretical knowledge to real business situations. Additionally, students will develop teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.

    Economics

    This course provides students with a broad and profound education in economics, covering areas such as macroeconomics, microeconomics, and international economics. Students will learn how to analyze economic issues, understand market mechanisms, study the impacts of policies, and assess the effects of business decisions.

    Information Technology

    The course aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills in information technology, helping them understand and apply key concepts in the digital world. Not only does the course emphasize the basic principles of computer science, but it also focuses on computer applications and innovation. Students will learn about computer systems, software development, data management, network security, and other important topics. They will actively participate in projects and practical activities, such as app development, website design, and data analysis, to enhance their practical skills and problem-solving abilities.

    Media Studies

    This course offers students a comprehensive perspective, covering a wide range of media forms, including television, film, radio, internet, social media, etc. Students will learn how to analyze and interpret media texts, understand the operation of the media industry.

    Global Perspectives

    The course aims to develop students' global vision and independent research abilities, enabling them to delve into global issues and propose innovative solutions.
    This course encourages students to transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries, exploring complex global issues such as sustainable development, cultural diversity, social equity, globalization, etc. Students will learn how to conduct independent research projects, including defining a problem, collecting data, analyzing, and presenting research findings.
