High school courses for students in grades 10-12-1
CIS offers a range of curricula, including the Canadian Alberta high school curriculum, the American AP courses, and the British A-level courses, laying a solid foundation for admission into top universities globally. In addition, the school has established the CIS Creative Design Academy (CCDA) to provide high-quality academic support and comprehensive college planning for students aspiring to pursue top creative design and arts majors in the world's leading universities.
A-level Curriculum
The A-level curriculum is central to the British education system and is recognized by most universities worldwide. It not only provides students with a rich knowledge base and skill set but also emphasizes personalized learning. Students can choose the most suitable subject combination based on their interests and future goals, focusing on 3 to 4 subjects over two years to delve deeply into their chosen fields, emphasizing depth over breadth. The flexibility of the A-level curriculum is one of its key characteristics. Subjects offered by CISFS for A-levels include Mathematics, Physics, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Media Studies, and Global Perspectives.
