    Dear Parents,

What an amazing two weeks we’ve had! Our focus has been on understanding ourselves and how our bodies grow and change. We compared our growth to that of plants, discovering that just as plants need soil, water, and sunlight to thrive, we also need nurturing to grow.

Through our lessons, we observed the similarities between plants and our bodies. We learned about the different parts of plants—roots, stems, leaves, and sprouts—and related these to our own features, such as facial characteristics, bones, and organs, each serving unique functions.

Additionally, we discussed the importance of individual growth and our responsibilities within our community. The children explored various roles that contribute to our society, including police officers, engineers, pilots, train conductors, hairdressers, gardeners, tailors, astronauts, and chefs. Each role is vital in ensuring our community runs smoothly.

To reinforce this learning, the students participated in role-playing activities, simulating different jobs to understand the services these roles provide. We even took on the challenge of being farmers, gathering milk from cows, which highlighted the hard work involved in various professions. This experience emphasized the importance of respecting and appreciating those who serve our community.
