At the beginning of this vibrant new semester, CIS Foshan marked a milestone moment with the official unveiling of the Off-Campus Practice Teaching Base of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts City School on the CIS campus.

This significant partnership injects fresh vitality from higher art education into the CIS Creative Design College.

The creation of the off-campus practical teaching base provides CIS students with direct access to high-level professional support, closely aligned with the higher education system in art. This connection offers:

1.Direct Pathway to University Specializations
The six core course areas of CIS Creative Design College—Fashion Design, Fashion Business, Spatial Design, Film Photography, Game Animation, and Visual Communication—will undergo deep collaboration with the Urban College of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. This partnership will allow students to align their courses with university-level art standards ahead of time.

2. Guidance from Experienced Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Instructors
Courses will be taught and guided by senior professors from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, providing students with hands-on experience in real creative projects. This direct mentorship will enhance their professional skills and the quality of their work, establishing a strong foundation for future applications to art institutions.

In the afternoon of the event, leaders and guests from theGuangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, the Canadian International Education Organization (CIEO), and CIS gathered to mark this historic moment.

Mr.Simon Chen , President of CIEO, gave the opening speech, reflecting on the group’s 25 years of dedication to education. He highlighted the purpose and direction of this collaboration with the theme "Art Warms the City, Education Illuminates the Future."

Mr. Wu Zongjian, Dean of the Urban College of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, responded to this collaboration from the perspective of higher art education.
