CIS Foshan will host the 2026 Year of the Horse Chinese New Year Celebration on February 6, and warmly invites both CIS families and the wider community to join us.
Through vibrant cultural performances and an immersive temple fair experience, you will celebrate the joy of the Lunar New Year together with CIS students, parents, and teachers from over 30 countries, while experiencing the richness of Chinese traditions and our diverse international community.

The celebration will begin with a series of captivating performances showcasing traditional Chinese arts:

After the performances, parents are invited to enjoy a relaxed refreshment break. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with CIS teachers and other families, exchange parenting experiences, and build new friendships within our community.
Festive Temple Fair
The temple fair is a beloved Spring Festival tradition. At CIS, booths are co-created by students and teachers, bringing the celebration to life:

Enjoy classic activities such as pitch-pot, ring toss, and lantern riddles—perfect for family fun while encouraging teamwork and learning through play.
Spring Festival Handicrafts
Browse student- and teacher-made couplets, lanterns, paper cuttings, and other festive decorations to bring blessings and warmth into your home.
•Cultural Hands-on Experiences
Write the character “福” (Good Fortune), make sugar art and traditional rice cakes under professional guidance, and explore the cultural meaning behind Spring Festival traditions while inspiring children’s creativity.
