Dear Parents, Community Members, and Stakeholders,
What a fantastic year it has been across our CIEO campuses in Foshan and Guangzhou. Our students continued building strong relationships, focused deeply on their learning, and took meaningful steps toward bright futures.
I especially enjoyed the year-end celebrations and seeing the joy on the faces of our students, staff, and families. Over the years, I’ve learned that celebrating life’s milestones—both our children’s and our own—is not just important, it’s essential.
The year-end celebrations
As we look ahead, I want to sharea key update. This coming school year, we will be transitioning from the Gibbons student information system to the more advanced PowerSchool platform. This new system will enhance communication with families and keep us on the leading edge of technology in education.
Both our Foshan and BIS campuses will beginusing PowerSchool in August. The transition involves transferring student data to new servers, and our teams are working hard to ensure a smooth process. At CIS Guangzhou, we will roll out the new system later in the year due to the size and complexity of the data and scheduling systems involved.
We appreciate your patience as we train staff, students, and parents to use the new platform throughout the upcoming year. Wishing you and your family a safe and exciting summer!
