CIS Collaboration | Promoting Industry-Education Integration: Developing International Talent for the Future Workforce


To implement the national strategy of industry–education integration and school–enterprise collaboration, and to better align corporate talent and resource needs, on December 17, Mr. Xu Jianqiang, President of theFoshan Shunde District Dianbai Chamber of Commerce, led representatives from member enterprises to visit CIS for a thematic exchange on industry–education integration.
Positioning itself as a bridge for resource connection, the Foshan Shunde District Dianbai Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting member enterprises in addressing development challenges and promoting high-quality, coordinated development between industry and education in both Shunde and Dianbai.

Xu Jianqiang, President of the Dianbai Chamber of Commerce in Shunde District, Foshan, together with Honorary Presidents Winnie Chen and Chen Jiajing, Executive President Zeng Qingjia, Executive Vice President Liao Zhixiong, Supervisor-in-Chief Liang Yaguo, Executive Secretary Ye Xinying, Council Members Xu Jinxu, Xu Mingguang, Huang Yulin, Full-time Secretary Meng Xinlan, and representatives from Yiqi Alliance, a total of 16 members, visited our school to carry out a school–enterprise exchange activity. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on international talent cultivation and collaborative practices, injecting new ideas into the development of our school’s education.


Focusing on the Chamber’s core mission of “building the ‘Fengqi Youyue’ signature program, serving members, and connecting resources,” Mr. Xu Jianqiang, President of the Foshan Shunde District Dianbai Chamber of Commerce, emphasized collaboration among member enterprises in areas such as children’s education, industry–education integration, and resource sharing, with the goal of achieving mutual benefit and shared growth.
He noted that this event represents a concrete initiative by the Chamber to support the “manufacturing-led development strategy” and to better serve its member organizations.
By leveraging the Chamber as a platform, he expressed the hope to establish long-term, institutionalized channels for industry–education cooperation, and to promote high-quality industrial development in both Shunde and Dianbai.

Mr. Chen Xiuqun, Honorary President of the Foshan Shunde District Dianbai Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Canadian International Education Organization (CIEO), reaffirmed his commitment to educational values and social responsibility. He emphasized that the true value of education lies in serving society and empowering industry.
Winnie Chen stated that CIEO will open up its high-quality educational resources and promote deeper integration between enterprise needs and educational processes. Through closer collaboration with member enterprises of the Chamber in areas such as talent development, customized training, and resource sharing, CIEO aims to achieve strong alignment between educational provision and industrial demand, enabling education and industry to advance in step.

During the thematic sharing and campus tour sessions, enterprise representatives and guests, guided by CIS faculty, visited international classrooms, cross-cultural communication laboratories, and other facilities. Through on-site observation, consultations, and interactive exchanges, participants gained first-hand insight into CIS’s educational environment characterized by “openness and inclusiveness with a commitment to integrity and innovation,”as well as its talent development model that integrates theory, practice, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
These experiences deepened participants’ understanding of CIS’s resource strengths and laid a solid foundation for targeted and practical future collaboration.


Mr. Li Laixiang, Chinese Principal of CIS, delivered a thematic presentation on “International Curriculum Systems and Educational Distinctiveness.” He provided a comprehensive overview of the school’s educational approach, which integrates internationally advanced educational philosophies with strong local cultural foundations.
From core courses such as overseas compliance training and cross-cultural communication, to a theory-plus-practice teaching model, and further to a talent development pathway that nurtures both cultural inheritance among the new generation and a global perspective, the presentation fully demonstrated CIS’s resource strengths and distinctive advantages in cultivating internationally minded talent.

This event represents a vivid practice of the national strategy for industry–education integration by the Foshan Shunde District Dianbai Chamber of Commerce and CIS International School, as well as a concrete demonstration of the Chamber’s role as a bridge supporting its member enterprises.
Looking ahead, the Foshan Shunde District Dianbai Chamber of Commerce will continue to integrate high-quality resources and build more “enterprise + education” collaboration platforms, promoting deeper synergy between industry and education. Through these efforts, the Chamber aims to contribute even more to the high-quality development of the regional economy.
