CIS Summer Camp | The Countdown Begins—Meet Our Camp Teachers
Summer is more than a holiday—it is an opportunity for children to explore their interests, build confidence, and grow.
The CIS Foshan Kindergarten & Elementary Summer Camp will officially begin on July 13, welcoming children from 2 years old to Grade 5. Guided by the IB PYP inquiry-based learning approach, an immersive English-speaking environment, and interdisciplinary learning experiences, the camp offers a meaningful and engaging summer filled with discovery and growth.

Ms.Kole Hung

As the CIS Kindergarten Coordinator and Principal of this year’s Summer Camp, Ms. Kole will oversee the overall planning and operation of the camp while also teaching English classes.
Education Background
• Bachelor of Arts and Design, RMIT University
• Master of Education, University of New South Wales
• Dual Qualifications in Early Childhood Education
Ms. Kole is passionate about integrating art and self-expression into learning. Through play, creativity, and exploration, she helps children build confidence, enjoy learning, and express themselves with courage.
CIS Summer Camp will be led by a team of international homeroom teachers. With diverse educational backgrounds and extensive teaching experience, they will guide students through English, STEAM, arts, sports, Chinese language learning, and many other enriching experiences.

Ms. Bernice is an energetic and passionate educator who previously participated in CIS Summer Camp and quickly became a favorite among students.
She specializes in developing children's English speaking and listening skills through interactive games, role-play activities, and engaging challenges that encourage children to communicate confidently.

Mr. Adam has a background in both Arts and Management and holds a TEFL certification, IB PYP certification, and classroom management credentials.
Through the Summer Camp experience, he hopes to help students step out of their comfort zones, build confidence, make new friends, and strengthen their English communication skills through meaningful collaboration and engaging activities.

Mr. Igor is passionate about education and has extensive international teaching experience. He specializes in combining sports, technology, and gamified learning with an inquiry-based approach to inspire students' curiosity and love of learning.
During the Summer Camp, he hopes to help students strengthen their English communication skills, build teamwork and confidence, and enjoy learning through meaningful hands-on activities, creating a fun and memorable summer experience.

Ms. Sharon is from Canada and has over 10 years of experience in international education, including 8 years as a homeroom teacher. She creates a positive and supportive learning environment where children can build confidence. Passionate about art education, she inspires students’ imagination and creativity through engaging activities, encouraging them to express themselves and grow with confidence.
In addition to our international homeroom teachers, CIS Summer Camp brings together a team of specialist teachers who will enrich students’ learning experiences across a variety of subjects and activities.

Mr.Sidney Bartlett

Mr. Sidney holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Education and has more than ten years of experience in international education.
Guided by the philosophy of “Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds,” he uses sports and teamwork to help children develop healthy habits, resilience, and a positive attitude toward life.

Ms. Monica has extensive experience in designing and delivering STEAM programmes.
Through hands-on experiments, creative projects, and interactive learning activities, she encourages curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills while helping students discover the excitement of interdisciplinary learning.

Ms. Zhang holds a Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education from Beijing Language and Culture University and has more than nine years of experience in international education.
She values the learning process and encourages children to express themselves confidently, think independently, and deepen their understanding of Chinese language and culture.

Ms. Keira is passionate about art education. Inspired by her grandmother, who was also a teacher, she believes that education is not only about sharing knowledge but also about modelling positive values and attitudes.
Through art, she encourages children to express themselves freely, explore their creativity, and discover their unique artistic voices while developing a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
Swimming Teacher

Mr. Bill has more than ten years of swimming instruction experience and four years of experience working in an international school environment in Canada.
Specialising in swimming and physical development, he hopes to help children experience the joy of movement, build confidence in the water, and create positive memories through a fun and supportive learning environment.
His goal is to inspire lifelong healthy habits while ensuring every child enjoys a rewarding Summer Camp experience.
A summer filled with exploration, discovery, and learning is about to begin.
English learning, inquiry projects, STEAM, arts, sports, educational excursions, and student showcases will provide children with authentic opportunities to learn, grow, and broaden their horizons.
