CIS students performed two songs for the competition: the cheerful English song “Happy” and Jay Chou’s warm and inspiring “Snail.” On stage, they expressed their emotions with young yet confident voices and demonstrated teamwork through harmonious rhythms. Their performance marked a breakthrough on their journey and earned enthusiastic applause from teachers, students, and parents alike.
With their outstanding performance and heartfelt emotional expression, CIS students stood out in this year’s choir competition and were awarded the Gold Prize. This achievement is not only a strong recognition of their dedicated rehearsals and seamless teamwork, but also a vivid reflection of CIS’s core educational philosophy of Academic Excellence and a Caring Community — a commitment to fostering knowledge and skills while honoring each student’s unique voice, encouraging them to grow through expression and shine with confidence in the face of challenges.

Warmth All Week
On May 19th, our teachers dressed up in adorable Pikachu costumes to warmly welcome every student and staff member at the school entrance.
This simple gesture—a cheerful hug—offered emotional support and a sense of comfort to all.The loving welcome infused everyone's day with positive energy and made each person feel truly cared for and embraced by the CIS community.

Embracing Green Healing
To help our teachers experience the healing power of nature amidst their busy schedules, we prepared potted plants for each of them, encouraging everyone to choose a plant they love to bring back to their office.
These green companions not only brighten up the workspace but also offer a sense of calm and relaxation, helping our teachers find a peaceful moment in the midst of their daily responsibilities.
“Smile Wall”
Capturing Every Moment of Happiness
On May 26th, we successfully launched the “Leave Your Smile” activity. On this day, many teachers and students drew their own smiles on the carefully prepared poster. Each smile became the brightest highlight of Happiness Education Week, coming together to create warm memories we share as a community.
Aromatherapy: Relax and Unwind
On May 27th, teachers participated in the “DIY Aromatherapy Sachets & Tea Break” activity. In a relaxed atmosphere, everyone carefully selected fragrant herbs and skillfully crafted unique sachets. Accompanied by subtle aromas and a leisurely tea break, the teachers not only enjoyed the hands-on creative process but also experienced moments of calm and healing. This event became a refreshing respite for body and mind amid their busy teaching schedules.
Tap for Happiness
From May 26th to 30th, children immersed themselves in the joy of the “Happy Clapping” activity. At the “Joyful Clapboard” set up on campus, they enthusiastically tapped, creating crisp sounds and laughter that echoed throughout, conveying the vitality and happiness of childhood. This interactive experience allowed students to relax through play and feel the safety and happiness the campus provides.

On May 30th, CIS welcomed its annual Children’s Day special celebration. Under the theme “Childhood Dreaming,” the school created a multicultural growth day that blends Eastern and Western festivities with educational and entertaining activities for the children.
The event revolved around three key themes: “Play · Make · Share.” From creative expression to traditional culture, and from physical movement to group interaction, children experienced immersive activities that brought them joy and growth.
