Academic Excellence | CIS Curriculum Night Review: Vision Realized, Action Witnessed
The prologue of the new semester was unveiled in a warm and fulfilling atmosphere. On September 12, CIS held this semester’s Curriculum Night, with all teachers and parents gathering together to jointly focus on the children’s learning journey for the new term.

In the lobby, the school thoughtfully designed a “Caring Community” postcard activity. Through this activity, students shared their learning experiences at CIS, while parents, by reading the children’s messages, could more vividly feel their growth and transformation. The music teacher also performed live for the parents, adding warmth and an artistic touch, and making the home–school exchange unfold in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.

As a key home-school communication event at the start of each semester at CIS, Curriculum Night not only allows parents to gain an in-depth understanding of the school’s overall curriculum system and the key priorities of each academic division, but also serves as a platform for direct communication between parents and teachers. Together, we work to safeguard and support the children’s growth.
Message from the
Head of School
After the welcome reception in the lobby, all parents gathered in the W Hall, where Head of School Nathan delivered his remarks for Curriculum Night.

He introduced the entire academic leadership team, with each member giving a brief speech to share their responsibilities and goals for the new semester, reflecting the team’s confidence in working together.

Nathan also outlined the key priorities for the 2025–26 school year: continuing to enhance the quality of teaching and learning, strengthening community relationships, expanding student care systems, and academically introducing the IB PYP and MYP to further advance English proficiency and student services.
At the same time, the school will continue to develop distinctive programs in the arts and sports.

These initiatives embody CIS’s vision of “Innovating Today · Lead Tomorrow” and reaffirm the characteristic spirit of “Academic Excellence, Caring Community.”
