During the event, the principal, secondary teachers, and all students participated enthusiastically, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with creativity and teamwork.
The activity was carried out in two rounds: this week, students began designing and creating the background for their display boards; next week, they will complete their final artworks using more creative collage techniques.

The core goal of this activity is to encourage students to create artistic display boards that represent the spirit of their Houses, showcasing each House’s unique character.
Through collage and assemblage art, students will use diverse materials to produce 3D artworks that embody their House identity and the essence of teamwork.
To make each House’s art display more creative and distinctive, students first worked collaboratively to decide on patterns and slogans.
Based on their House color themes, they used clay materials to craft three-dimensional backgrounds. Each House’s display board will feature its signature colors and design elements, showcasing its unique House spirit.
· Hawk House: Yellow, Gold, and Brown
· Bear House: Purple, Gray, Black, and White
· Wolf House: Orange, Brown, and Dark Green
· Orca House: Blue, Black, and White
In next week’s final creation stage, students from each House will use recycled and sustainable materials to further refine their art displays.
By incorporating old magazines, colored paper, cardboard, and other eco-friendly materials, students will infuse concepts of environmental protection and sustainability into their creations, producing three-dimensional artworks that are both imaginative and environmentally conscious.
This event not onlyprovided CIS Secondary students with an opportunity to showcase their artistic talentsbut alsofurther strengthened the sense of teamwork among the Houses.
The activity reflected CIS’s holistic education philosophy, as students learned to leverage their individual strengths within a team and understand the importance of collaboration. We look forward to seeing the display boards of all four Houses showcased on campus, becoming vibrant landmarks full of creativity and team spirit.
