Our school deeply understands this and has therefore adopted a series of cutting-edge educational methods to cultivate students' comprehensive and in-depth cognitive abilities, creativity, and problem-solving skills. These methods include STEAM education, competitive teaching, cross disciplinary learning, synesthesia education, project-based learning, and right brain education. Every educational method aims to break down traditional disciplinary boundaries and encourage students to explore, practice, and innovate in diverse learning environments. Through these methods, students not only learn textbook knowledge, but also develop key skills that will adapt to the future society, such as critical thinking, teamwork, and creative problem-solving abilities.
STEAM
The school has adopted the core concept of STEAM education. STEAM education emphasizes the organic integration of knowledge and skills from different fields, cultivating students' comprehensive thinking and innovative abilities. In our school, we consider art as the core because it not only inspires creativity, but also helps students develop observational, expressive, and emotional intelligence. Meanwhile, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics have become means to achieve artistic creativity, and through interdisciplinary integration, students can have a more comprehensive understanding and application of knowledge.
Competitive teaching
The school adopts a competitive teaching method by combining the learning process with competitive elements, encouraging students to pursue excellence and improve their comprehensive abilities. This teaching method often takes the form of competitions or contests, where students compete with peers or teams to achieve their best performance. The core concept of competitive teaching is to stimulate students' motivation, cultivate their confidence and goal oriented thinking through competition. Students typically face specific challenges or tasks that require the application of their learned knowledge and skills to solve problems and achieve success. This method helps cultivate students' problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and innovation abilities.
Interdisciplinary learning
The school has adopted interdisciplinary learning aimed at breaking through disciplinary boundaries, promoting communication, cooperation, and knowledge integration between different academic fields. This method encourages students to not only delve deeper into their major field, but also cross into other subject areas to acquire broader knowledge and skills. The core concept of interdisciplinary learning is to recognize that real-world problems are often not solvable by a single discipline, but require the integration of knowledge and methods from multiple disciplines. Synesthesia education
We have adopted synesthesia education with the aim of providing deep learning experiences and opportunities to perceive the world by integrating multiple senses such as sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste. This educational approach emphasizes the importance of sensory experience and encourages students to interact with knowledge and the environment in a richer and more comprehensive way. The core idea of synesthesia education is to stimulate students' curiosity and creativity through creative methods and multi sensory activities. Students are not only passively receiving information, but also deeply understanding concepts and themes through personal experience, exploration, and creation. This educational method not only facilitates better absorption of knowledge, but also helps students develop perceptual and communication skills.
project-based learning
We adopt project-based learning aimed at promoting deep learning and knowledge acquisition through student participation and completion of real-world projects. Unlike traditional classroom teaching, PBL emphasizes students' active participation and problem-solving abilities, encouraging them to apply knowledge and skills from multiple disciplines in a comprehensive project. This project may involve scientific experiments, social surveys, engineering design, artistic creation, or various other tasks. Students need to independently choose methods, collect information, analyze data, and ultimately present their results. The core concept of PBL is to combine learning with practical application, cultivate students' critical thinking, collaborative ability, and innovation. This method helps students gain a deeper understanding of knowledge as they need to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations
Right brain education
Our school has adopted a right brain education approach, emphasizing the development and cultivation of students' right brain functions to promote creative thinking, perceptual abilities, and artistic creativity. Unlike traditional left brain education that emphasizes logic, mathematics, and language abilities, right brain education encourages students to understand and apply knowledge in a more creative way through visual and perceptual means. The core concept of right brain education is to create a creative learning environment through visual guidance teaching. This includes art forms such as painting, music, drama, and handicrafts, as well as visual tutoring techniques such as images and mind maps. This method helps students understand information in a comprehensive way, cultivating their spatial thinking and imagination.
