In the first week of the new school year, the CIS campus is brimming with energy and vitality. Children are finding a sense of security in clear daily routines, expressing themselves confidently through inquiry activities, and making steady progress in language and mathematics. In just a few short days, we can already see “Academic Excellence , Caring Community” vividly come to life in our classrooms.

ECE 

From Settling In to 

Confident Expression


In the ECE stage, children graduallyadapt tothe new environment through daily routines such as morning circle, stories, and outdoor activities, learning to build a sense of security within structure.


In PreK2–PK3, children take their first steps in building friendships—learning to take turns, share, and collaborate—while discovering the joy of belonging to a caring community.

In PK4–K, the inquiry themes Who We Are and How We Express Ourselves guide children to explore identity and self-expression. Through family photo frames, emotion portraits, and “All About Me” projects, they learn to understand themselves and use art and language to share their feelings and ideas.

Secondary


At the same time, the Secondary School places equal emphasis on students’ holistic development. Cross-cultural exchanges and teamwork help them cultivate responsibility and leadership through challenges, while the Life Skills program supports their mental well-being during rigorous study and gradually builds independent living abilities, preparing them for future academic pursuits and life development.

In the first week of school, CIS students have already begun to shine across different divisions. In the ECE program, children are gradually building confidence and a sense of belonging through nurturing routines and expressive activities; in the Primary School, students are progressing steadily along a clear academic pathway while growing within a culture of community; and in the Secondary School, learning is guiding them toward deeper inquiry and broader global perspectives.
