In this parent interview, we invited the father of Chloe, a current student, to share his educational philosophy on nurturing his child's talents and his thoughtful insights into educational pathways.

In Chloe’s father’s view, family is the foundation of a child’s comprehensive development. He believes that a child’s growth requires not only the cultivation of knowledge and skills but also emotional support and guidance in values. For example, they provide her with opportunities to learn and practice by enrolling her in courses or activities she finds interesting, allowing her to explore diverse fields and broaden her horizons. No matter what challenges she encounters, her parents stand by her side, offering encouragement and trust to help her build confidence.

Chloe's father also mentioned that he plans to take his child to visit different universities every year. "I believe that allowing children to see universities firsthand can help them set clearer goals while also gaining early insights into the academic and living experiences of different countries." These experiences have not only inspired Chloe but also given her a more comprehensive understanding of her future educational path.

Chloe's father believes that there are three core elements fundamental to a child's growth:

Independent Thinking: The ability to analyze and evaluate complex information and choices independently, enabling them to make decisions that best suit their circumstances.
Inner Strength: Cultivating confidence, resilience, and the determination to persevere in the face of failures or challenges without succumbing to self-doubt or excessive stress.

“We decided to transition Chloe from a traditional school to international education with her long-term development in mind.”
Chloe’s father pointed out that traditional education emphasizes exam-oriented skills and knowledge accumulation. However, he recognized Chloe’s potential in areas such as the arts and language expression. International education goes beyond knowledge acquisition, focusing on the development of critical thinking, creativity, and a global perspective.
